After defeating Plankton, the team jumps through the portal to Bailley, where they come across High Five and Miko Kubota. After Jimmy reworks the portal into an Interdimensional portal, the team walks through it and heads over to Bikini Bottom. After saving the citizens with help from Sam and Tucker, the Nicktoons head over to Danny's house and locate the Ghost Portal. In Amity Park, the Nicktoons discover Vlad has turned all of the citizens into ghost-like zombies. Lincoln realizes that the Syndicate must be using Shimmer and Shine's magic, along with the things they stole, for some kind of master plan. Lincoln informs the genies about his mission to save their universe, and his plan visit Ronnie Anne, who he hasn't seen awhile, as the genies tell Lincoln that the Syndicate has taken them away from their friend, Leah. After they find their way out of the pit, Lincoln wishes up a huge buffet for him and the genies when they suddenly got hungry. After their introduction, Lincoln makes a wish for them to escape the pit. He activates it and releases twin genies, Shimmer and Shine. As he rummages through the stolen items in hopes of finding a way to escape, he finds a genie bottle. Meanwhile, Lincoln finds himself at the bottom of the pit. Their fight ends up sending the Nicktoons falling over to Amity Park and Lincoln and some of the stolen items falling into a bottomless pit. The team hops onto their ship and attempts to retrieve the items the Syndicate stole. Zim and the Syndicate escape in their ship with the Nicktoons chasing after them. The Nicktoons break in and try to apprehend the Syndicate. Zim, interested in taking over Earth, eagerly accepts their offer. The villains, with more items they stole, recruit Zim to be on their team. Jimmy tracks down the Syndicate hiding out underneath a school in Zim's dimension. citizens, the team builds a new ship and resumes their mission. citizens questions about the Syndicate, the team discovers that the ship they've been riding in has been looted by them. District in Nicktropolis to look for answers. The team arrives back in Jimmy's lab to come up with a plan to stop the Syndicate. SpongeBob SquarePants, Timmy Turner (with his godparents, Cosmo and Wanda), Danny Phantom, and XJ-9 (Jenny) all volunteer to join Jimmy's team. Jimmy created Nicktropolis to keep everyone safe while he and a team go and stop the Syndicate. Copying his invention, Calamitous has created his own remote to form a Syndicate with other villains and steal, energy, magic, and loved ones from each of everyone's worlds as part of their master plan. Jimmy explains to everyone that Professor Calamitous, his arch nemesis, has stolen his blueprints for his Universe Portal Remote, a device that open portals to other dimensions.
They all report to a City Hall-like building so Jimmy can explain everything that's going on. Every Nicktoon character, past and present, appears in the virtual city. Inside his lab, Jimmy shows Lincoln a virtual world he has created called Nicktropolis and transports himself and Lincoln over there. Jimmy Neutron and his robot dog, Goddard, appear through a portal and takes Lincoln back with them to Retroville. Lincoln Loud and his best friend, Clyde McBride, are about to head over to Great Lakes City to visit Ronnie Anne and Sid, only to realize that a robot army has taken over Royal Woods and kidnapped his sisters. Lincoln Loud teams up with SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner, and many other Nicktoon characters to stop the evil Syndicate from destroying their worlds.
